Pynn AI acquires Helixon by appointing Marc Mirada as Head of Growth & Strategic Partnerships
With the acquisition of Helixon, Pynn strengthens its mission to become the intelligence layer for early-stage venture capital - welcoming Marc Mirada to lead the next phase of growth.

Pynn and the Max Ventures group have recently joined forces with Helixon, and we’re excited to welcome Marc Mirada as our new Head of Growth & Strategic Partnerships.
Marc has been working on his Helixon concept since 2025 with a simple but powerful intention: make early-stage venture capital work better. Better for founders trying to tell their story clearly. Better for investors trying to spot real potential among hundreds of opportunities. Better for the ecosystem as a whole.
As he began validating Helixon, Marc had dozens of conversations across the startup landscape. Some of those were with Patrick Visser and David Franzen of Pynn. It quickly became clear they were thinking about the same problems, asking the same questions, and working toward the same kind of future and that by combining his knowledge with Pynn's existing infrastructure, they could build similar solutions side by side.
Why It Made Sense
At Pynn, we’ve been building what we see as the intelligence layer for early-stage innovation.
Our AI-powered platform helps investors, accelerators and innovation programmes assess startups with more structure and clarity. At the same time, it gives founders a smarter, more organised way to present their companies, beyond just a pitch deck and a few metrics.
Marc’s vision with Helixon aligned naturally with this mission:
- Reduce friction between founders and capital
- Bring more transparency to early-stage investing
- Help investors make better decisions, faster
- Strengthen the overall quality of the ecosystem
- The alignment wasn’t forced. It was organic. And that’s usually a good sign.
What Marc Brings to Pynn
Marc joins Pynn with experience on both sides of the table. He understands the uncertainty and pressure that come with raising capital, and he knows how challenging it is to evaluate early-stage companies efficiently and fairly.
That perspective will be central to his role leading Growth & Strategic Partnerships. His focus will be on expanding Pynn’s reach, deepening relationships across the ecosystem, and ensuring we continue building a product that genuinely solves real-world bottlenecks.
Looking Ahead
This isn’t just an announcement of us working together. It’s a signal of intent.
We believe the future of early-stage investing will be more data-driven, more structured and ultimately more accessible. AI is enabling that shift, but it’s the people behind the platforms who make it meaningful.
We’re excited to have Marc on board as we continue to build Pynn into a trusted partner for founders, investors, and innovation communities.
If you’re raising capital, reviewing opportunities or running a programme that supports startups, we’d love to connect.
We’re just getting started - and we’re building it together!
